The Piccolo Series81 is an 8-inch 2 n 1 mini Laptop is powered by an 3.4Ghz Intel N100 CPU.
We've optimized both the BIOS and the operating system for maximum boost performance out of the box.
The Picoolo 8" netbook doubles down as an 8" tablet PC, hence, it's name "2 n 1."
The Series81 has a premium build. Boasting an all aluminum housing shell, it has a matte finish giving it a premium feel. The hinges that are connecting the screen are premium and won't break easily, like other swivel netbooks on the market.
Piccolo's IPS screen resolution is 1920*1200, which is higher than most competitor's 1200*800 screens.

Yes, the power button doubles down as a fingerprint reader.
What kind of SSD does it have and is it user-upgradeable?
It has M2 2242 SSD. You can open the SSD door using a screw driver. The SSD door is located on the bottom of the unit.
Does the Piccolo come with Windows 11 activated?
Yes, there's a device specific version of windows that can only be used on the Piccolo and not on other devices.
Can you install Linux on the Piccolo?
Yes, you can! Aurora distro is recommended.

Are the speakers downfiring?
No, the stereo speakers are on the side.
What kind of mouse does it have?
It has an optical touch mouse. You can also buy a tiny mouse which should be in the "recommended products" below.
Who is this 2 n 1 mini Laptop for?

Should I choose the Series81 (n100) or Series81x (n150)?
For the minor 5usd price difference, we recommend splurging on the N150 CPU for around 10% improved performance.
Is the DDR user-replaceable?
No, the DDR5 is on-board.
What kinds of games can be played on the Piccolo?

When will there be an AMD Ryzen variant?
Due to increased cooling requirements, the AMD variant will have a new build and will be released Q2 2026.
When will the N200/N300/N305 variant be released?
